Job Description:

This international manufacturing company is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure & Security manager. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of in-house and Azure cloud infrastructure, security, MSP services, solutions providers and team members delivering services and solutions covering business and manufacturing IT in the UK, Europe, Asia and US.

You will be responsible for providing high quality business-focussed support along with a strong ability to design and manage projects and workstreams covering different technology elements. This position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related technologies, projects, and activities covering operations throughout the world.

A key responsibility will be the selection, evaluation and management of their Managed Service Providers, ensuring SLA and KPI reporting is monitored and reviewed. You will manage, develop and secure their end user computer, server (cloud and on-site), networking and security solutions and you would act as the escalation point for technical and operational issues.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to support and develop business capabilities to ensure their IT accurately reflects their business goals.

Experience in any of the below will be an added advantage: CCNA; Microsoft MCP - Azure Administrator / Architect; excellent knowledge of Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS – both deploying and managing; excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365; strong technical knowledge of information, perimeter and end point security. Knowledge of SASE would be advantageous as would experience of ITIL, change, service and incident management.

Your likely key skills are: Microsoft Windows Server & Azure cloud deployments; networking, Firewalls and Security technologies; Active Directory & Azure AD; Virtualisation (VMware); Microsoft Office 365, Teams & Sharepoint; MDM platforms managing EUC and mobile devices; experience of cloud data analytics; Dynamics 365.

Ideally you will have a degree in information technology, computer science, or similar and will have relevant workplace experience.
